DTS Update

I wanted to share a quick update with all your survivalists out there.  For the last few months I have been in the pits of launching a new business (shameless plug…visit www.revolverboutiques.com).  The whole process really took and is still taking a big chunk of my time as we hone the model in, make changes and gain some traction.  This is why the site has been much less active…because a fellas gotta earn a living.  Stay tuned for more posts as time permits. Thanks!

Uh Oh

Looks like I have been having an issues with wordpress and new posts for a few days now, I should have it resolved by days end…keep checking back…seriously.

We Are Getting There!

Update:  We working on adding the finishing touches to the site but we did manage to get up all the new graphical background stuff.  Sweet huh?

You have probably noticed by now that the site has an entire new look and feel. The guys at Jetscram have been having a lot of fun reworking the site and are doing a GREAT job.  What you see right now is not the final look and feel, so please bare with us over the next few days as we get the finishing touches all worked out.  When its done it will be so awesome you wont even know what to do with your self…I promise

In the mean time, take a second, leave a comment and let us know what you think so far. Thanks!

Special thanks to Randy and Joey, you guys truly are the DTS’ baby’s momma.

Here the deal

There are countless resources on the hot topic of survival. Books, blogs, even workshops. With all of this great information out there, there is a lack of practical cost effective information for us city folk.

Reality check guys, some 81% of the 306 million people that live in this great country of ours live in the city! You can do that math on your own time. Whats important to note here is that most of the reading and training I have seen is almost all geared towards wilderness survival, or some kind of doomsday urban combat situation.

The Downtown Survivor will be exploring real world situations, with real world budgets, focused on helping all of the city dwellers be prepared for whatever the world throws at them, from homelessness to natural disaster. No combat boots required.
